Last week saw the passing of Hollywood icon Farrah Fawcett. Blonde, gorgeous, and one of the sexiest stars from the 70s, Farrah was a star that stood apart from the rest.
From her blonde, feathered hair - a style which can still be spotted on celebrities like Hedi Klum and Madonna - to her flaired pants, swimsuits, and gold jewelry, Farrah remained true to her sexy style throughout her life.
Farrah’s memory as a styl icon will forever burn brightly in Hollywood history - plus all the fraternity halls that still hang her “red bathing suit” poster.
R.I.P. Farrah

Cameron Diaz was seen all over New York yesterday as she hit the pavement to promote the June 26th release of her new movie My Sister’s Keeper.
From the “Good Morning America” show in the a.m. to the New York premier of the movie in the evening, Cameron managed to keep up a fresh and energetic appearance wherever she went, wearing everything from a Stella McCartney dress to blue jeans and a tank top. I loved the funky Pierre Hardy shoes she wore throughout the day.
The red carpet found the vivacious actress in a stunning white J. Mendel dress with simple diamond earrings and gold bangle bracelet. Her white and gold ensemble highlighted her golden California tan and youthful looks. I love how she manages to keep her glowing beauty all the time.
Cameron’s playful attitude and high spirits must have made the movie set a good time for her younger crew Sofie Vassilieva and Abigail Breslin. Though the movie is recieving mixed reviews - from “manipulative tear-jerker” to “inspirational” - I’m sure the audience will do well by drawing in Cameron’s enormous fanbase. I may wait for the video…or just read the book.

I just recently saw the movie Twilight with bella Kristen Stewart and hottie Robert Pattinson. The movie was entertaining, and I can see why it gets a lot of hype, especially with the intense love story between Bella and Edward. What I thought was was really cool were the charm bracelets that I spotted in the movie.
I thought the bracelets were really cool and can see them being pretty popular (remember the Titanic heart pendant?) and found a lot of sterling silver bracelets that are inspired bracelets from the movie.
The best ones that I liked was this Bella inspired silver and cz bracelet with a howling wolf and these other Twilight inspired bracelets.
With the Twilight Saga: New Moon sequal coming out soon, Twilight inspired jewelry are going to become quite popular.

Best: Jeniffer Nettle from Sugarland wearing a champagne Rachel Roy strapless dress with great lines and awesome choice of diamond stud earrings and a gold circle necklace. Easy to achieve a with a pair these diamond cz stud earrings and designer inspired gold vermeil twisted rope necklace.

Worst: Model Karolina Kurkova wearing a mannish black tuxedo dress and
ankle boots. Not really sure what is going on with the hair, but the silver chandelier earrings are kind of cool.
Most Alarming: Naomi Judd and her bright purplish, red hair and atomic neon blue dress! Her glamour bracelet and sapphire earrings are cool, but I’m not sure what the rest of her outfit says…perhaps, GOOD GOD!

Of all the red carpet events this past week, I would have to say that the 2009 Tony Awards had all sorts of stars all different walks of fame. From Angela Landsbury to ex-American Idol contestant Constantine to Neal Patrick Harris, this theatre award show had a ton of random celebs that only the theatre can draw.
There still seemed to be a lot of big named designers and eye catching jewelry. It seems that big dangling earrings were a big trend from last night. Anne Hathaway sported not only a simple ruffled Oscar de la Renta black strapless gown, but she wore these large diamond chandelier earrings - a great summer style that can be accomplished with cz chandelier earrings. Jane Fonda - who still looks glamorous - was also sporting a large pair of chandelier earrings.
But hands down, the best dressed, and apparently Best Actress in a play - was Marcia Gay Harding, who looked AMAZING in an emerald green mermaid dress with very sparkling chandelier earrings (summer trend - I’m telling you!) and matching tennis bracelet. This starlet stole the show with her excellent taste in jewelry and fashion.
Full of class and elegance, there was a lot of cool silver earring styles, bracelets, and more. The only thing missing were the outrageous styles of some of your typical shock masters - like Lady Gaga, but there was still plenty of style to admire, along with some great talent.

The 2009 MTV Movie Awards seems to have made a comeback this year. With ratings reported to be 92% higher than last year, the ceremony seems to have also sparked a lot of buzz with crass behaviour and outrageous gimicks.
Besides all the typical gossip about the show, the red carpet seemed to once again attract some
interesting fashion - both good and bad. Check it out!
There appeared to be a lot of tight dresses - which isn’t so bad for a beginning of the summer style. There also seemed to be a lot of shimmering, metallic styles and sequins. I thought Hayden Panattiere looked exceptionally cute in her Ungaro Spring dress with simple diamond studs and silver bracelet - a great look to achieve with a pair of affordable cz stud earrings.
Though some people think Hayden’s dress color was a little to dark for her dark tan, compared to Sandra Bullocks Abaete Fall 2009 night sky dress with dark tights and silver cuff bracelet and silver earrings.
I did like Keke Palmer’s silver chain link earrings and Ana Ferris’s gold cuff bracelet.
What I didn’t get was Kristen Stewarts just-crawled-out-of-bed look with red and black Yigal Azrouel dress and black Converse sneakers. It’s not the tussled look that I mind, it’s the out of place dress with a simple silver fashion watch. She’s still cute, but I didn’t get the choice of dress.

When it comes to hot and trendy designer styles, no one does it better then our favorite celebrities. And when you want to fashion yourself with gorgeous designer jewelry, you know that you will have to spend a pretty penny for those brand names.
Well, think smart and start wearing designer knock off jewelry!
I know that designer rings, like David Yurmans cable jewelry style, are pretty expensive, but I also know that there are quality designer knock off retailer that sell designer replicas for a fraction of the price! Kate Moss is a known face for David Yurman, but also starlet Kate Hudson has been seen wearing this designer style jewelry, but you can find
yourself a designer style cable ring right on the Internet for such a great deal!
And when it comes to Heidi Klum’s clover necklace, there are so many designer inspired necklaces that are almost an exact replica of the Van Cleef style.
So if you love the designer jewelry that your favorite star is wearing, do not fear, there are plenty of designer style rings and other designer replica jewelry out on the wide world to steal the style!

…Kris Allen!!
Last night saw the ending of the 8th American Idol competition. Starting off with pretty poor ratings this year, Idol still managed to recieve the highest amount of votes than previous seasons.
The red carpet saw some pretty big named celebs - Fergie, Keith Urban, and a string of past Idol contestants like Justin Guarini and Kimberly Caldwell, who was wearing a very original black and teal dress that seemed a tad too much for this show - but I liked her gold bracelet.
I honestly have to say the Paula Abdul looked pretty stunning in her gold beaded gown - especially nestled between Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. Her hair was pulled nicely back to show off some cool gold chandelier earrings - and I loved her cool diamond and gold bracelet and bling cocktail ring - which seem to be a popular red carpet style for celebrity jewelry.
Other celeb styles on the red carpet last night were Chris Daughtry and his manly collection of sterling silver necklaces and stainless steel jewelry; pretty in pink Carrie Underwood with her pearl drop earrings;
and Brooke white with an awful summer dress but cool gold bangle bracelets.
My favorite had to be Syesha Mercado - a great source for new celebrity style jewelry with her uber-tight black dress, funky high heeled shoes, and her cool clunky silver bangle bracelets and dangling earrings. This little songstress just has a great sense of fashion!
So, another season of bad singers, good singers, Paul Abdul gossip, and Simon Cowell comments…can’t wait till next year!

Now that Mother’s Day is over and you’ve indulged the woman who brought you into this world, it’s time to turn the tables and think about yourself. What do you need? What do you want?
I know…JEWELRY!
We are on the cusp of what could be a hot and steamy summer, so why not spoil yourself with some hot and steamy jewelry styles.
Bracelets, bracelets, BRACELETS! Show off those gorgeous limbs you’ve been working into shape all winter with a stunning cz tennis bracelet or cuff bracelet. All the stars on the red carpet have been spotted this past week wearing some sort of wrist bling to show off their shapely arms, so why not you?
Or how about a customized nampeplate necklace for those low cut shirts you’ve been waiting all winter to wear. Nothing says “I’m hot” like a personalized necklace, which has also been seen to grace the red carpet.
And for the bride who is counting down the days (June is only 16 days away, ladies…), ease your pain of finding the perfect wedding ring with a silver engraved ring. Engravable rings are a little less personable then Pam Anderson and Tom Lee’s tatoo rings, but they still have that special meaning for the bride and the groom.

There’s a lot of hype this week about the Miss USA 2009 competition. The hub around Miss California’s contraversial statement has brought a lot of attention to the competition this year - what do you expect when you have Perez Hilton on the judges panel - but what about the fashion and jewelry that these ladies showed off?
Featuring some of the best beauties in years, this year’s Miss USA competiotion was full of sweeping gowns and shimmering jewelry. Apparently Sherri Hill had quite a few gowns appearing in the show - including the blue strapless gown winner Miss North Carolina wore.
The jewelry, as always, was exquisite. There seemed to be lots of chandelier earrings and hoop earrings, ranging from intricate filigree earrings and sterling silver pearl and cz earrings to large diamond cz drop earrings and big glittery cz circle drop earrings.
The Miss USA pageant maybe all about beauty, but it’s definitely a place to see glamorous fashions. I also highly recomend checking our the glamor shots on the Miss USA website. All the contestants are featured in old Hollywood style photographs - old styled hair-dos, feathered boas, vintage gowns, and cool celebrity style jewelry.
Sexy and inspiring, these ladies are a great source for new fashion trends, hairstyles, and jewelry accessories - like Miss PAs’ flashy cz bangle bracelet.
