2009 Daytime Emmy Awards
The Daytime Emmy Awards this weekend saw a lot of flowing satin dresses that were popping with color and hanging off of shoulders.
As elegant and sophisticated as some of these daytime beauties were, my pick for the night was Taylor Spreitler who accessorized her fuschia pink gown a glittery ring and simple gold vermeil chandelier earrings. Taylor is a really pretty girl who didn’t go overboard with hair, makup, and fashion. I also just like the mix of gold and pink in contrast to the outrageous cat bag that Stacey Haiduk carried.
The Daytime Emmys isn’t like its counterpart, but you can still catch some great and unique styles on the red carpet. It seems like one shoulder and off the shoulder dresses are going to a be a popular style for the red carpet this season. I’d be curious to see how some of our favorite celebs will accessorize these dresses. I think there are going to be a lot of cuff bracelets and dangling earrings.

Taylor Spreitler was definitely the hit of the evening in the fuscia gown and I totally agree the jewelry was most fitting for her age and attire. She is an absolutely lovely person on and off the stage and there is no way she could make any dress look bad. She is a natural beauty – inside and out. I look forward to seeing more of her in the future.
